Hi there everyone!
I've been using ecodrive for more than a week now, and it is really a masterpiece. I've been able to save up to 50% of my fuel driving according to their tips. It's amazing.
However, I'm a bit concerned: following ecodrive's tips, I have to change gears in an earlier time than I used to. So, when I'm on 40 km/h, I'm already at the 4th gear, sometimes on the 5th gear before 50km/h. I've been shifting gears when I get around 1500rpm. Is it ok to do so? Do I harm my engine doing so? I don't hear the car "complain", but it's so different than what I was used to that I feel suspicious.
I am driving way slower now, but I'm getting an index of 80 on my drives, and it is amazing how much fuel I save doing so.
